James Suckling-Australia – Barossa – A cooler vintage has tuned this into darker fruit aromas, attractively spicy notes and a wealth of rich blackcurrants, blueberries and dark stones. Some leafy aromas, too. The palate holds a richly concentrated core of black fruit and deeply powerful tannins.
