These frozen mixed vegetables were specially selected and flash frozen, locking in fresh flavor and nutrients, to provide you and your family with high-quality frozen vegetables and whole grains. This Birds Eye frozen quinoa and veggies side is an excellent source of fiber and is made with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives for a delicious and convenient way to enjoy power bowls and frozen sides without compromise. Serve the steamed vegetables and quinoa as a frozen side dish along with your favorite grilled meat, or add them to grain bowls, pasta dishes and salads as part of a main dish. Easily prepare the frozen veggies by microwaving them in the bag for up to 5 1/2 minutes or by cooking on the stovetop for 10 to 14 minutes. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving. Store this 10 ounce bag of steamable frozen sides in the freezer to maintain freshness until you are ready to enjoy. It’s good to eat vegetables, so Birds Eye makes vegetables good to eat.

Spinach, Cooked Garbanzo Beans (water, Garbanzo Beans), Cooked White Quinoa (water, Quinoa), Cooked Brown Rice (water, Brown Rice), Red Bell Peppers, Water, Sweetened Dried Cranberries (cranberries, Apple Juice Concentrate, Sunflower Oil), Apple Cider Vinegar, Contains Less Than 2% Of: Soybean Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Salt, Sugar, Spice, Onion Powder, Xanthan Gum, Locust Bean Gum.

Directions
Cook thoroughly. For food safety & quality follow these instructions carefully: Keep frozen-Do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Cook only one product at a time. Promptly refrigerate any leftovers. Reheat before serving. Microwave Instructions: Cook only one product at a time.1.P place frozen, unopened bag this side up, laying flat in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. 2. Microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 3. Let stand for 1-2 minutes after cooking. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the light blue tabs and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy! Microwave cook time:1200 wattage; 4-1/2 minutes. 1000 wattage; 5 minutes. 800 wattage; 6 minutes. For microwave ovens less than 800 watts please use stove top instructions. Stove Top Instructions: 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick sauce pan. Add 1/4 cup water. 2. Cook covered over medium heat for 8 to 9 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. 3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir well and serve. (Stand time is important for safety and quality). Caution! Product will be hot!
