Amy’s mom and dad, Rachel and Andy, met in India and have many Indian friends. One of these friends invited them to dinner, and they were so delighted with the meal that they wanted to share it with Amy’s customers. They asked their friend if she would teach our chefs how to prepare this dish. After many trials and tastings, they came up with Amy’s Indian Mattar Paneer. The mattar paneer is made with paneer cheese and tender organic peas in a delicately spiced sauce. Carrots, onions and cumin add flavor and color to the organic basmati rice. Curried chana masala, made with organic garbanzo beans and sweet organic tomatoes, rounds out this delicious meal that we’re sure will appeal to all who appreciate fine Indian cooking.

Ingredients
Organic Basmati Rice, Organic Onions, Organic Peas, Organic Garbanzo Beans, Filtered Water, Paneer Cheese (pasteurized Milk, Distilled Vinegar And/or Lactic Acid), Organic Diced Tomatoes, Expeller Pressed High Oleic Safflower And/or Sunflower Oil, Organic Tomato Purée, Organic Carrots, Organic Garlic, Organic Ginger Purée (organic Ginger, Filtered Water), Sea Salt, Spices, Organic Cornstarch, Turmeric, Paprika.

Directions
OVENS MAY VARY.

MICROWAVE OVEN Make a 1-inch slit in overwrap. Cook on high for 4-5 minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve.

CONVENTIONAL OVEN Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove overwrap. Cover tray with foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve.

TOASTER OVEN Remove overwrap and tray. Place in an oven-safe dish. Follow conventional oven directions.
