The original version of the Amy’s Chili Mac bowl was inspired by Irene who works at our Medford plant. She would mix a few spoonfuls of Amy’s Organic Chili with our Mac & Cheese at lunchtime. The original is so popular that we’ve decided to make a vegan version that everyone can enjoy. This delicious, gluten free, plant based dish is another reminder that at Amy’s free from gluten and dairy does not mean free from flavor.
Ingredients
Filtered Water, Organic Rice Pasta (organic Rice Flour, Filtered Water), Organic Vegan Cheddar-style Cheeze (filtered Water, Organic Potato And Corn Starch, Organic Coconut Oil, Sea Salt, Organic Ground Sunflower Kernels, Natural Flavor, Organic Fruit And Vegetable Concentrate (carrot, Pumpkin And Apple), Organic Annatto Extract [color]), Organic Red Beans, Organic Onions, Organic Tofu (filtered Water, Organic Soybeans, Magnesium Chloride), Organic Sweet Rice Flour, Expeller Pressed Safflower And/or Sunflower Oil, Organic Green Chiles, Spices, Sea Salt, Organic Garlic, Organic Tomato Purée, Organic Ketchup(organic Tomato Concentrate, Organic Distilled Vinegar, Organic Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Organic Onion Powder, Organic Spice, Natural Flavor), Organic Jalapeño Peppers, Organic Nutritional Yeast, Organic Mustard Seed Powder, Organic Smoked Paprika, Organic Annatto (color).
Directions
OVENS MAY VARY.
MICROWAVE OVEN Make a 1-inch slit in overwrap. Cook on high for 3 minutes. Remove overwrap. Stir. Cook on high for 1 more minute. Let sit 1 minute. Serve.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove overwrap. Cover bowl with foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil. Stir. Bake for 10-15 more minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve.
TOASTER OVEN Remove overwrap and bowl. Place in an oven-safe dish. Follow conventional oven directions.

Contains soy. Includes sunflower seeds. Individuals with food allergies: this product is made in a facility that processes foods containing wheat, milk, soy, tree nuts and seeds (including sunflower seeds). In addition to gluten testing, strict allergen control measures are implemented at all levels of production. Amy’s kitchen does not use any peanuts, fish, shellfish or eggs.
