Directions
Bread Fish, Chicken or Vegetables Dip fish, chicken or vegetables into slightly beaten egg or milk, then in 4C Plain Bread Crumbs. Repeat if thicker breading is desired. Fry slowly until brown, allowing a few minutes for each side. Butter Toasted Bread Crumbs: Add 1/2 cup 4C Plain Bread Crumbs to 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine in a small pan. Stir over medium heat until crumbs are golden. An excellent topping for salads, casseroles and steamed vegetables.
